Solar Powered Mason Jar Lights

- bigger than the 2.25" opening associated with the Mason container
- smaller than the orifice when you look at the Mason Jar

Heavier: initial style I attempted had been (on approval from 4th of July) simply a feeling bigger than the orifice. Painless enough to detach the blue top section from this's synthetic post (perhaps not shown here). Alongside make things fit i merely had to cut the sides of the light off with the dremmel and a tin snips.
This kind of size light worked effectively because no rewiring, cutting associated with the top if not gluing associated with the top was required. I came across these at Menards for $1 ...think I better return back for many even more!

Smaller - Here because the solar panel is therefore little it could fall through the jar "band". I had to reduce a hole into the top, after which glue the light toward cover.
(another option may be to copy the dimensions of the top from anything much easier to cut, synthetic (like top of a Skippy container perhaps) or timber. I'ven't tried this system however)

I slice the top opening 2 other ways:
- Marked a square on top and utilized the Dremmel to cut the opening.
- I also utilized a hole-saw generate a round hole. The hole-saw technique is easier, but partially blocks the solar panel.

Another issue utilizing the smaller size light: battery pack inside ended up being a 1/2 AA...looked like a AA only half the exact distance. I really couldn't find an upgraded and so I made personal battery pack owner from free cardboard and utilized the AA size...see the images below.
